I've pretty much haven't been doing much this summer, aside from the fact that I went to summer school and that I went to Vegas. nothing else. I wanna do something fun. i say we all go to marine world or  great america before summer ends. what do u say gang? i feel like freddy from scooby-doo when i say that haha.

I went to Las Vegas this weekend to see my favorite band Papa Roach at the Hard Rock. Thanks to my friend who works for their fan club we got free tickets to the show and passes to the after party. The show was as awesome as ever. The vegas crowd isn't as wild and crazy as other cities. After the show we went up to the V.I.P area where the after party was being held. We got to talk to Jacoby (my man <3). He was like "damn girrl your like our at all our shows! you fucking rock!" I took a picture with him. I'll see if i can post it sometime soon. oh yeah we also saw dave the drummer. he was about to leaving, as he walked passed everyone he saw us and was like  "hold on, i gotta say hi to my girls"  to the person on the cell phone. he came over to talk to us and gave us a hug. we were the only people he talked to. all the other people there looked at us like "who are they? and why did dave and jacoby know them well?" you see alot of the people at the after party were fans who were meeting them for the first time. after meeting the guys (jerry didn't come out cause he was tired and tobin left in a hurry with some girls) we left and went to go eat. The next day we did some shopping and we to eat at Pink Taco in the Hard Rock Hotel. We were eating when the guy who hosts Fear Factor walked in. We also saw some UFC fighters and this guy who was on the Sorpanos. At night we went out, but as they say "What happenes in Vegas, Stays in Vegas" so that's all I'm gonna say.

My godfather/uncle got every sick yesterday and he was taken to the hospital. My cousins calle my godmother/aunt to tell her what had happened and it had something to do with his stomache. Then later in the night they called to tell her that the doctors said nothing could be done and that it would only be a matter of hours before he passed. In that my godmother started crying like crazy. Her and my godfather aren't together anymore but still, he was the father of her children. I tired not to cry because I know that would only make matters worse. Plus she needed all the support she could get. We came home from my other aunt's house and I started to check for plane tickets leaving to mexico as soon as possible. While I did that my mom and aunts packed all they could. In that my uncle vicki came and he looked soooo sad. I had never really seem him get sad. When it was decided that she was leaving my uncle vicki ran home to packed some stuff and leave to mexico with my aunt. When we got to the airport we were told that the flight was full and that we would be put on a wait list and at 12:10 come back and see if there were any openings. It was around 10:45 and the waiting was getting on everyone's nerves. finally the time came and yes there were seats open. so my aunt and uncle were on there way. They called us around 7 in the morning to tell us that my uncle had passed away just about five minutes before they got to the hospital. Today they are going to have a wake and then tomorrow they are going to bury him. My aunt might come back I don't know.

Today I went to go see Charlie and the Chocolte Factory. I had seen the orginal and semi read the book, so I was really looking forward to see this movie. It was quite different from the original. Willy Wonka was a tad bit creepy. The only people that sang songs where the lumpa loompa's. They had some funny songs. The songs were the lyrics from the book and nothing like the songs from the first movie. Also Vercua didn't have a song in this one which disappointment me because I really liked her song :sings: "Don't Care How I Want It Now!". The whole thing with Willy Wonka and his dad was odd, but played into the movie really well, once again I didn't really read the whole book so I don't recall if that was part of the book. In the first movie my favorite kid was Violet cause I loved to chew gum, but in this movie I really liked Augustus Gloop! I liked the way he talked. My favorite song was the one the puppets sing:

Good song.  I think everyone should go see the movie was it was very good and according to Lucy (or at least from what I hear from her in the theather) it was very funny. I wen to get the soundtrack after the saw the movie. I guess I like Tim Burton movies, cause I also have to songs from The Nightmare Before Christimas. Oh yeah later tonight I'm going to Barnes and Nobles to get the new Harry Potter  book! Harry Potter and the Half-Blooded Prince. From what I hear the half-blooded prince isn't voldermort nor is it harry. I can't wait to find out who it is. Is it me or does Harry seem more angery as the books go on? Could it be the dark side (yeah I know it sounds star warsish, but I don't know how else to out it)? Oh yeah during Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I saw a preview for the lastest HP movie. It seems like it will be good. I hope they stick more to the book unlike the 3rd one. I guess I was just use to the directing styles of the first director who did the first two HP movies, during the second one I just didn't "feel" the magic as I did during the first two movies and I was also disappointed about how certain things that I really liked from the book where left out. Like the firebolt harry gets at the end of the book was a gift from his godfather and not from Lupin like the movie showed.  I wonder if they'll stop at four book as far as movie making goes or will they go as far as all 7? Cause I'll be like 23 when the 7th one comes out and that's only if J.K gets all the books out by then and ready for them to become movies. I can't wait to get this book and see how harry is dealing with things and if contiunes to be angery. also who is this half-blooded prince? J.K already said it wasn't harry nor voldermort. Nevile who was also born on the same day as harry is full-blooded, Draco is full blooded, Ron is full, Semus is half...could it be him? Or is it some kid we haven't even really heard about in the books? I guess I'll have wait until midnight to begin my journey to answering all the questions i have.

I have to go to work today! Ugh. I was really looking forward to just sitting my ass around the house. So on monday I have to head off to school again. I got my biology book and my lab book. My math class doesn't require a math book which seems a bit odd to me. I was kind of looking forward to going back to school because I would have something to do, but then again I wish I could just stay home. Also my lab runs from 3:15-5:30 which means I'm going to miss the novela I watch at 3! That sucks so much cause it was just getting good!

Since the last time I have written I've been out of school! Yay for me. What sucks is that I will be going back for summer semester next monday. I'll be taking Bio and Math. Oh yeah I'll be taking aberoics too with Lupita! Let's see what else have I've been up to? Oh yeah I went to go see a couple of movies this movie. First I saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I had been waiting for this movie for like ever! Well when I finally did go see it, it wasn't like I thought it would be. I really don't wanna get into it. Let me just tell you, instead of spending your money on a movie ticket, READ THE BOOK! The book was by far wayyyyy better. Second I saw Madscargar (spelling?) It was such a good movie. I laugh sooo hard. My dad and I were the only adults there with no little kids and I think we liked the movie more than the little kids in the theather with us. Lastly I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Brad Pitt is:WOW. He is so damn sexy! God I wanna marry him! The movie was corky, funny, breath-taking, it was great. Everyone should go see Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Not only was it a great movie, it has an awesome soundtrack. Especially this one song they played when the two main characters are dancing with one another for the first time. GO SEE IT!

Other than going to see movies, I've gone shopping, didn't really buy anything special. Tomorrow I'm going to be hanging out with some friends from high school. It should be interesting.

This pass weekend was the Greek Festival! I've been going to the GF since I was like a little toddler, so it's something I look forward to every year. It gives me a chance to hang out with my friend Maggie who I don't see as much since she moved to Tracy.So I had to work once again in the Dinning Room this year. It actually wasn't that bad. Not many people came during my shirft (the morning 9-5) on Friday and Saturday. Sunday, however, was packed!Tons of people in the moring. I had lots of fun. As soon as I would get off my shift, Maggie and I would go get something to eat and walk around or sit down somewhere. We got to see many different dance groups, but the one group we were looking forward to seeing were these two brothers who dances and do tricks with tables and chairs. We also saw some hot guys! The bad thing about that weekend was that I got sick. My throat was hurting and I could barely talk!

Aside from that school is coming to an end! Yay! I had a Pyschology final on Thurday and then next week I have a Physical Geo final on Tuesday and two finals on Wed, a English and Stats and then I'm done for the spring! But not really with school I'm going to take some classes in the summer. So I'll be talk in school on June 20.

Oh yeah this wedesnday night I'm going to be seeing the midnite screening of Star Wars Epsoide 3!!! I can't wait. Oh yeah!

I'm at home right now because my 10:30 class was cancelled for today. I have to be back at school at 1:30 for my stats class. Then at 5:00 I'm going to UC Berkeley for a free concert with Rooney!!! I really should be doing research for my paper. I'm doing my paper on Television and the Coverage of the war. I think I might change it and do it on Television and how it effects people cause that connects way more with what went on in the book we read in class.

So this pass weekend I went to LA and San Diego to see Papa Roach in concert and to go to Seaworld. I had sooooo much fun. On Friday night we went to the LA show. We got passes to the aftershow. At the aftershow, we talked to all the guys from Papa Roach. They couldn't believe that we had come a long way to see them. Jerry asked us where we were during the show cause he didn't see us, and we told him we were on top and he was like "oh all grown-up" He thinks we're only like 18 years old. There were other celebs there too. Such as: Rob (drummer of Linkin Park), the drummer from Alien Ant Farm, the lead singer of Static X, and Brandon Boyd (the lead singer of Incbus)

On Saturday we went to San Diego to go to Seaworld with Amy. Seaworld was a blast! We got soooo wet on the water rides! My hair went from straight to wavy. I was kind of mad cause I was going to the Papa Roach concert that night and I didn't want to have my frizzy wavy hair with me.

The San Diego show was awesome! I was in the front row on Tobin's side (bass player). They rocked out! Omg, the best part of the night was when Jacoby came over to me and was all up in my face singing and then he tried to reach some people behind me and he was all all on top of me! Tobin was totally making eye contact!!! We had a moment. After the show we went to where the tour buses were to wait for them. There was a line of people waiting for them and we were in the middle of the line. What was so cool was that even though we were in the midddle of the line, the guys all came to talk to us first. People were totally looking at us and thinking we knew them, which you could say we do, since they remember us. What was soooo funny was when Jerry was coming out from the area and I yelled "JER" and he looked over and gave me a grin and was looking at me like "is that you?" then he came over to talk to us. We talked for a while and then I asked him for a picture and he said "No" and I looked at him all sad and he was smiling and said "I was kidding! I totally caught you off guard!" This isn't the first time Jerry has done that to me. He said he likes to joke around with me. I can't believe I fall for it all the time. Oh yeah David came over and gave us a collector's edition guitar pick of papa roach. After that we had to leave cause San Diego has a curfew on the whole city.

It was a really great weekend. I came back on Sunday night by plane. As me and adia were waiting for our plane to start boarding, we save that guy who plays the dad on seventh heaven and we also saw the girl who played that one dude's wife in Rat Race and she was also in the movie Hocus Pocus.

So I should be studying for my stats test tomorrow, but instead I'm wasting my time on the net and watching this movie based on a Stephen King novel "Rose Red".  I don't think my test will be that hard. So far I have been getting B's on my test with all minus the same amount of points! I really don't wanna go to my kick boxing class tomorrow. It's a pain, yet it can be fun. Next semester I'm not going to have any friday classes cause it is a pain in the ass to have to go!

I wanna go shopping on saturday. like maybe go to sf....i don't know....all i know is i wanna get out of the house.

School is almost over!!! I can't wait. Althought I'm going to be taking Intro to College Biology in the summer. I don't like science. I have to go meet with my counselor to set up my classes. I kind of already know what I'm going to take so the meeting with my counselor won't take too long which is good cause my meeting is at 1:00 and my class starts at 1:30.

 

So I went to Tracy to vist my friend and also see a movie. Me and my friend Maggie wanted to see The Ring 2, but Adia wanted to see Be Cool. After debating it we convinced Adia to see The Ring 2, we told her that if she was a real cowboy she would see the movie. So we saw The Ring 2 and let me tell you it was NOT scary at all. I won't go into detail about what happened cause I know there are alot of you who still wanna see the movie. I'll have to wait until you see it so we can talk about it. But yeah it was weak and not scary at all. There were some part in the movie that I found quite funny. I think that when you see it you'll know which one's I'm talking about!
